[Bug 4008] New: Wizardy 8 load game problem

For example if game was named "1", I get "1Av" and if it was named "1Av" I get "AvAV". So I am not able to load or delete any saved game using this list. See attached image. "Please turn off 'compatibility mode': -right-click on Steam.exe -select Properties -go to the 'Compatibility' tab -un-check 'Run this application in compatibility mode..'" I have tried both ways of trying to fix it via the Applications Database -both using winetools and not but to no avail. Here is a thread which another person get the exact same error as I. The only difference is he is running the 64bit version of Suse 10 but I am running the 32bit version. The installation is very very smooth and claims to complete successfully but the installed binary only opens an empty window and then immediately quits. During installation I got many fixmes fixme:ole:ITypeInfo_fnRelease destroy child objects [repeated _many_ times] interspesed with fixme:ole:DllRegisterServer not implemented (olepro32.dll) [once] fixme:ole:MSFT_ReadValue BSTR length = -1? [twice] and once only: fixme:atl:AtlModuleInit SEMI-STUB (0x10016400 0x100160b8 0x10000000) fixme:atl:AtlModuleRegisterServer 0x10016400 1 (null) and close to the very end: fixme:ole:SLTG_ProcessDispatch memh.cbExtra is 434 fixme:ole:SLTG_ProcessDispatch offset 0 0x4a fixme:ole:SLTG_ProcessDispatch memh.cbExtra is 82 fixme:ole:SLTG_ProcessDispatch offset 0 0x4a wine --version gives 0.9 from Debian unstable. I presume I should have run the latest version of wine, sorry.
