Summary: 16-bit application (WinLED) deadlocks due to changes in
initialisation of BIOS and SYSTEM information
Product: Wine
Version: CVS
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: critical
Priority: P3
Component: wine-loader
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: saulius.krasuckas(a)elst.vtu.lt
At start the application displays some window it usually does. After pressing
OK button app locks. This behaviour is caused by the patch of Eric Pouech [1].
Plain output is this:
| [s2@katleriai fuse-2.2.1]$ wine /home/s2/cc/Program\ Files/winled/led2w.exe
| fixme:toolhelp:InterruptRegister16 (0000, 0x11d700ba), stub.
Backtraces and verbose debug outputs are on the way.

Hi, thanks for the bug report. Could you use the Create a New Attachment link
above where you enter comments to attach the log? It will make it easier to
read, and allow us access to the logs no matter what.. Also, could you try
running the program with the wine command instead of winelauncher? Thanks

Summary: Homeworld 2 Won't launch
Product: Wine
Version: 20050310
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: wine-binary
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: wm161(a)wm161.net
I got Homeworld 2 to install, and uninstall, so that much works. But I can't
launch it. I've tried $ winelauncher ~/.wine/Program\
Files\Sierra\Homeworld2\Bin\Release\Homeworld2.exe, and $ winelauncher
C:\\Program\ Files\\Sierra\\Homeworld2\\Bin\\Release\\Homeworld2.exe
I am running Fedora Core 3, with wine installed via the RPM linked on winehq.
I know you'll probably hate me for doing this, but here is the log wine made
when I tried to launch it.
I don't understand a word of it :(
Also, when I installed from RPM, I couldn't find the wineconfig program that
winelauncher looks for.
You can find it at http://stuff.wm161.net/hw2error.txt
