Why isn't the user prompted to switch CDs? Is it a bug or is the functionality
on the to do list yet?

You are correct that WaitForVerticalBlank doesn't have anything to do with it.
Another thing related to cutscenes when they run poorly is the audio driver's
performance or threading issues.

So the real bug is that mail notification from AppDB doesn't have the apps name
filled in. It should possibly also contain a link to the apps page.
Perhaps we also should enter some reasonable template with the notice that it's
the predefined non-edited response, instead of something that needs replacing
anyway by the admin.

What version of wine did you use?

No, I'm running a Radeon Mobile 9000. After watching the game run in a window
it seems that the WaitForVerticalBlank is unrelated to the problem. The warning
in question happens even when playing normally (where the game runs just fine,
just the menus and cutscenes have this issue). I will hopefully get a chance
this evening to take a more in-depth look into what is wrong.

I think, wine should use a separate directory for the desktop or there should
be a way to disable such integrations before building wine. For example, I
want to use a kicker menu extension for KDE which shows the start menu and
some other dirs and do not want wine to try integrating itself to window
manager.
