Most likely the font message is caused by the same bug as the Photoshop CS
one - inability of FreeType versions prior 2.3.5 to load Windows bitmap fonts
in PE format.

Gee, the exact same problem seems to affect Family Tree Maker 2006.

Summary: Macromedia Studio MX installer requires one extra "OK"
Product: Wine
Version: CVS
Platform: Other
OS/Version: other
Status: NEW
Keywords: Installer
Severity: minor
Priority: P2
Component: wine-misc
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: dank(a)kegel.com
The Studio MX installer runs very well, except
that when you ask it to install all five apps,
one of the subinstallers (flash player) doesn't
*quite* get run unattended; you have to click its
OK button to get it to run.
This is pretty minor, but hey, if we fix it,
we can be pretty proud that the install experience
for this sizable app is just like on Windows.
(I haven't installed on Windows to verify that
the problem is only under Wine yet, whoever picks
this bug up should probably check first.)

How did you ran it? From what directory with what exact command?
Also is there a demo of this program? And if so, does it have the same problem?

Summary: Fireworks 3 help fails, URL passed to winebrowser
mishandled
Product: Wine
Version: CVS
Platform: Other
OS/Version: other
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: wine-misc
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: dank(a)kegel.com
The help menu on Fireworks 3 fails; Firefox comes up, but displays the dialog
"Firefox doesn't know how to open this address, as the protocol (c) isn't
registered with any application." (more or less)
The log looks like this:
0009:Call KERNEL32.WinExec(0033e3f4 "c:\\windows\\system32\\winebrowser.exe
file:///C:/Program Files/Macromedia/Fireworks
3/English/Help/Contexthelp.htm",00000001) ret=007c9071
trace:process:CreateProcessW app (null) cmdline
L"c:\\windows\\system32\\winebrowser.exe file:///C:/Program
Files/Macromedia/Fireworks 3/English/Help/Contexthelp.htm"
Annoyingly, the linux command
winebrowser "file:///C:/Program Files/Macromedia/Fireworks
3/English/Help/Contexthelp.htm"
works properly, and brings up the help file. Works in cmd, too.
So I guess it has to do with the fact that fireworks called
CreateProcess with a single string, "c:\\windows\\system32\\winebrowser.exe
file:///C:/Program Files/Macromedia/Fireworks 3/English/Help/Contexthelp.htm",
and somehow quoting or file:/// stripping getting screwed up.

Summary: Dreamweaver 3 Launcher window icons cut off
Product: Wine
Version: CVS
Platform: Other
OS/Version: other
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: wine-user
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: dank(a)kegel.com
Dreamweaver 3 installs fine, and starts fine
(though you have to hit Enter to get an invisible
dialog box to go away; that's the infamous z-order problem).
The "Launcher" window which has seven buttons (Site, Library, HTML Styles, etc.)
and is shown by default in the upper right
seems to be too short and/or has a title bar when it shouldn't.
The position of the icons would be right if there were no
title bar for the window; as it is, the title bar overrides
the top half of the icons.
