There is a regression in wine since 0.9.28 and current git (haven't tried releases since 0.9.39, but I assume it's still there since it's in the current git). Mouse cursor in Weird Worlds is missing in everywhere else except (most part of) dialog windows. This makes the game unplayable. The OpenGL messages you see in the console are harmless (sometimes they are evil but in general not).
