I've Ubuntu feisty fawn and wine 0.9.40 I've tried many workarounds, but nothing worked... (incl.: deinstalling wine/deleting ~/.wine and restart the PC, then normal installation...but that doesn't work; removing the blob.reg, steamtmp.exe and so on...but even doesn't work; copying the (updated) steam directory from a friend (who uses windows) and overwrite my directory with it (the copied Steam directory wasn't configured...(no Steam acc data) my friend just installed it "for me" ...and updated it, then I've copied it...but I get the error again...) what's going on there? Perhaps it could be linked to my gfx hardware: Geforce 4 MX440, nvidia drivers 1.0.8776-4.
