One pixel gaps in the controls
All controls have one pixel gaps on their right and bottom side. This applies
to every wine app I've tested - not just winecfg as in the screenshot.
This bug seems to have appeared in Wine 1.0. As I couldn't find a bug for this
eye-catching drawing error in the database, I think it might have something to
do with my setup:
I'm using Ubuntu/hardy and tried all precompiled binaries of the Wine 1.1.x
series. I also deleted my $HOME/.wine directory to have a clean wine
configuration.
My graphics card is a ATI Mobility Radeon 9600 and I'm using the driver radeon
(version 6.9.0) with the shipped Xorg 7.3.

When attempting to install ATX Max 2005 (a tax program) I receive a two dialog
boxes that say "Run-time error 445." After clicking ok in both of them the
installer terminates. I am trying to install this application on Ubuntu 8.04
with Wine 1.1.6.

I installed it successfully and was able to create my voice profile, but the

create a tool bar above the desktop.

Summary: Bonnies Bookstore has sound glitches in the music and
adjusting volume
Product: Wine
Version: 1.0-rc1
Platform: PC

OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: -unknown
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: msclrhd(a)gmail.com
There was a glitch when playing the music in the game.
Adjusting the sound effects volume cut out the background music and created a
repeated buzzing/popping sound.
Other Popcap games (Bookworm Adventures, Alchemy, Bejeweled 2) all play audio
fine from my testing.
NOTE: This is with yesterday's git, i.e. it contains the revert of the removal
of the deprecated alsa calls.

When NeoSteam ist started with Neosteam.exe
wine "C:\Games\NeoSteam\NeoSteam.exe
instead of using the updater[1] it crashes immediately.
On Windows the game simply runs without updating.

The updater has other problems see 12788
It's the normal way to run Neosteam.
The executables are NSStarter.exe or Updater.exe

Summary: Drakan order of the flame fails to start because the CD

As far as I can tell "Drakan: Order of the Flame" just uses a CD check.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Install Drakan
2. Start the game from either the command line or via the Autorun.exe on the CD
3. Attempt to start a new game from the menu
Expected Results:
Game should proceed to the the introduction and onto the first level.
Actual Results:
Message pops up about inserting the Drakan CD.
Workarounds:
Install patch 445 which removes the cd check.
While the workaround does work, wine should be able to handle a standard CD
check. I will look further into seeing if it is in fact some copy protection
scheme that I haven't managed to detect.
