I installed wine 1.0-rc3 in Xubuntu 8.04. I followed steps as shown on http://www.winehq.org/site/download-deb . However when I want to Browse my C drive I get the following error " Failed to open URL "~/.wine/drive_c". " and " The URL "~/.wine/drive_c" is not supported. ". In " /home/myname/.wine/ I have following permissions: drwxrwxrwx 4 myname myname 4096 2008-06-04 18:56 drive_c ". Is this something Xubuntu specific or are there similar bugs reported in Kubuntu, EDUbuntu (and perhaps Ubuntu).
