wine log of starcraft not working
With 1.0-rc4, when the 'Emulate a virtual desktop' setting in winecfg is
disabled, Starcraft is unable to connect to Battle.net for multiplayer, and
gives an error that reads: "Battle.net was unable to properly identify your
application version." The same feature works correctly when the virtual
desktop is enabled.
The most recent two comments in the AppDB entry (linked in URL field) for
Starcraft have the same symptoms.

Summary: Dungeon Keeper 2 mouse control is broken
Product: Wine
Version: 1.1.0
Platform: Other
OS/Version: other
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: enhancement
Priority: P2
Component: directx-dinput
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org

Dungeon Keeper 2 WINEDEBUG="+dinput"
In Dungeon Keeper 2, the mouse refuses to move from wherever it is situated
(usually the center, occasionally elsewhere).
Within a second of moving it from the starting location, it jumps back to this
location.
Attached is WINEDEBUG="+dinput".
This bug does not occur with the native dinput.dll.
There was no point in the past, as far as I can tell from AppDB, where this
worked.

At first I had this problem too, I just copied the font folder from my windows
to wine and the render problem was solved.

How do I use the current git, what is git? I have this issue too. I'm using
wine 1.0.0 and setting the shader to fbo does fix this but makes the game
unplayable due to such low frame rates.

Work around: Save parameters as a 'set' and edit them in a text editor. Then
load back modified parameters.
That way you can use compiled EA if you do not have sources to modify original
set of parameters.

You fix it adding WingDing (TrueType) font from any Windows XP Font folder to
Wine Font folder.

I don't know what ORM is (or where I can set it) but I've set the shader thing
to fbo...and in wine1.1.0 it works :)
yeah...the performance isn't like it is under Windows...but it works, I think
the bug is fixed...
