There is no error message and the problem occurs at different times. Sometimes, one can play for over an hour, other times, only a few minutes. Current setup is Ubuntu 8.10 with packages downloaded from Winehq. This doesn't happen on the menus. Every time I load any Wine app, the screen flickers, little lines flash back and forth. It stops after the app is fully loaded. It happens with all Wine apps. This did not happen with Wine 1.1.6 on Ubuntu 8.04.
