OK, I added VC6. As expected, wine works fine with that on this test.
Also, Eric is working on a fix. He gave me a patch
that helps vc2005/vc2008 with this case, but says it needs more work
before he can post it.
(See also https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=211529 for the same bug
in valgrind, which has pdb support derived from wine's.)

I tested sunbird 0.3 with current git, and it still crashes for me. I guess you
used a more recent version of sunbird?

Still present in Wine 1.1.31, however following error showed up:
err:d3d:state_undefined Undefined state.
After looking at other comments, i didn't see this error.

Fifa 10 crashes after start.
Steps:
1. Install FIFA 10.
2. Set up OffscreenRenderingMode to FBO
3.Run
Game works on Wine 1.1.20 in FBO mode.

I have changed my distribution to PC Linux OS and the current version is
running Wine 1.1.28. So far in my testing, all the bugs I listed have been
fixed. I can see the play by play text now and reports display and the game
plays. I will do more testing, but I think this bug can be closed.
