Summary: Native Windows ODBC:Firebird stores numbers in sientific

The following applications and scripts were used on ubuntu 7.04 and Puppy Linux
3.0.1 with the same results.
Firebird-2.0.1.12855-1 RDBMS
Firebird 2.0.0 ODBC driver
winetricks script from Dan Kegel
mdac2.5 or mdac2.8 per winetricks
Several versions of Wine, including 0.9.55 and 0.9.56
Using decimal datatype with Firebird on WindowsXP and Win2003 server records
whole and decimal numbers correctly in the Firebird RBDMS.
On ubuntu and Puppy Linux with either Linux Firebird or Windows Firebird
running under Wine 0.9.56 and either mdac 2.5 or mdac 2.8, whole or decimal
numbers are stored in scientific notation and lose the power.
We were able to work around this problem by using datatype float rather than
decimal, but some may not be able to change their database schema.

The rail3d installer downloads hundreds of files,

just sits there. I'll attach a log. Oddly,
I don't see any winsock in the log, though I asked for it...

Spotted by Christian Costa.
causes Pumuckl / Klabauterjagd to crash at program start in winevdm, during the
intro animation.
The patch is not that bad either, as it makes sound work again in
Klabauterjagd. Sound was lost somewhere between 1.1.30 IIRC and 1.1.33.
The app worked fine with older releases such as wine-1.1.18 (or 1.1.30 IIRC).
Should I run another round of git-bisect to determine the ancestor commit that
caused loss of sound?

After patching Wine to deal with bug 20806, I noticed Civilization II crashed

This regression appeared in Wine 1.1.33. When I go to race in FlatOut 2
everything is rendered as black (see the attachment). Menus and HUD are
working.
I tried disabling anti-aliasing and using various DirectDrawRenderers, but with
no working results.

Summary: UI glitch with FlatOut 2
Product: Wine
Version: 1.1.29
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: enhancement
Priority: P2
Component: directx-d3d
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: ape(a)ape3000.com
FlatOut 2 has some UI glitches on race. The UI elements (map, infos, speed
meter) are sometimes shown as whitish transparent (see the attachment) instead
of the usual solid colored images. It swaps all the time in-game between the
correctly rendered ones, transpared ones and some times there is no elements at
all.
This didn't happen on Wine 1.1.25, but it does occur on 1.1.29. I haven't
tested any versions between them or the new 1.1.30. I'd call this bug a
regression.
