After enabling the extra repositories, it's got all dependencies settled (Dan's install-wine-deps script worked well). Cool! First bug, I already sent a path for: http://www.winehq.org/pipermail/wine-patches/2008-December/066885.html though a skip or something else may be more appropriate. This unnecessarily adds an additional external dependency (Debian users need the cupsys-bsd package), when there already appears to be code there to print using the library, but that's unused right now. Both these apps have splash screens with transparent backgrounds, which are transparent when using Metacity. But when using Compiz Fusion, the backgrounds render black. I'm not sure if the component should be wine-gui or wine-gdiplus, so I guessed and selected the former.
