winealsa.drv: Don't hang on last few bytes not played.
... in current git causes a regression for me in Knights of the Old Republic.
Music is stuttery, sounds like it plays old/uninitialized data for small
fractions of a second.
Reverting it makes sound return to normal.
Doesn't happen in Medieval Total War 2, so seems to be a winmm/waveout-specific
regression, dsound unaffected.
Nothing triggers in a warn+wave trace.

This is not a Steam-specific bug and is still present in 1.1.15. The
uninstaller only goes part-way. What *doesn't* get removed are the items in
/home/username/.local/share/applications/wine/Programs.

I tryed to emulate a virtual window for it and it don't work it just makes it
hard to do things on starcraft. It makes everything real small or unreadable on
starcraft and i cant host games on my ubuntu comp but my windows will host them
just fine.

Version up: 1.15
A possible hint at where the redundant tabs might come from:
As I mentioned in my previous post:
- when a circuit/plot pane is minimized in the MDI interface, in windows you
get an icon completed with a small bar on top of it. Wine shows only the icon.
I believe that the small bar might get transformed into the spurious "tab" in
wine.
There is also another bug about LTSPICE ui glitches in the wine db it is 3037.
Maybe the two could be unified.

backtrace
I downloaded SafariSetup.exe from http://www.apple.com/safari/download/ and ran
the installer. Safari installed okay (apparently), but won't start. It crashes
with a backtrace. It then hangs and you have to hit control-C to exit.
Backtrace to follow.
This was with Wine-1.1.16.

Summary: Halo: Installer fails to complete with error "Cannot
load pidgen.dll" (needs mfc42.dll)
Product: Wine
Version: 1.1.16

Priority: P3

Terminal output with WINEDEBUG=+relay
I am running Ubuntu 8.10 32-bit and wine 1.1.16.
I am running the command "wine /media/cdrom0/Setup.Exe" to begin the installer.
The main menu comes up normally, however clicking the listed options has no
effect. I can still select Install by pressing Alt-I on the keyboard.
The next step is to enter the serial number. After doing so, I again cannot
click the Next button (nothing happens), but can press Alt-N. That is when the
error message "Cannot load PidGen.dll" is displayed.
At this point I am unable to close the application (due to inability to click
menu items) and must manually end the running process.
There is an ERR listed in the terminal mentioning MFC42.DLL is not found.
If I install the native mfc42.dll file from the Visual C++ 6 Redistributable (I
used winetricks), I still have to use Alt-key combinations to navigate the
menu, but then the game installs normally after entering my serial and plays
just fine.
Terminal output of WINEDEBUG=+relay attached.
