It uses VFP and VB with MDB backend. The app is in Slovak (SK) language. Mostly the wine problems are related to the OLE. The database backup function dosen't work properly. In the app, please go to "Nástroje > Zálohovania" and You will be asked for location of the backup. Just confirm the path and press OK. You will be then asked, whether You wish to run DB Defragmentation first. Say "Nie" (eng:No), otherwise You will crash because of the bug 12340. Using virtualbox everything fine, but using wine only installation works OK. When executing installed program I get windows program error: the program X has encountered a serious problem and needs to close with wine explanation below (the same dialog). Exactly the same behaviour I see for another program -- SuperMemo UX. The problem is that game crashes in the begging. It shows something about registered trademarks and then probably intro movie should start (i can skip or get crash) and then game makes first save which is failed because crash occurs. The installer fails under Linux, as well; you'll probably need Windows to actually install this game. I was also unable to cabextract, unshield, or unzip the installer. There's also a file Fate.exe after install, which aborts with the same error as the installer. In Windows, Fate will only load if you run Fate-WT.exe with the full path name included. On CS3, the error occurs with the OS dialog. (There's a button to select OS or Adobe dialog.) (And on wine, the Adobe dialog just silently doesn't respond to those URLs, doesn't even highlight the Open button.) Dragging and holding the layer over the target-image results in drawing a black border, therefore the image gets recognized correctly, but dropping gets ignored.
