Appears to be some type of internal wine problem in svc_udp_recv. After overriding d3drm.dll to native, one can get past through the loading screen. For example I assign D: to /mnt/d and set the type to Hard Disk, apply changes and close winecfg. Then I insert a CD and open winecfg again to verify if CD is added properly. But it appears that my assignment to D: is lost and replaced with /media/mydisk. Even I then press autodetect and get /mnt/d automatically assigned to E:, settings are not saved properly.
