kernel32: Implement GetVolumePathNamesForVolumeName.
I created a drive D: with winecfg and pointed it to /media/INTERNAL
(the place where the TomTom device is mounted on my machine). Then I set
its type to 'Floppy disk'. This means Wine will report the drive as a
removable drive, which is what TomTom HOME is looking for.
With this configuration and the attached patch the app proceeds to read
from the device:
Call KERNEL32.CreateFileW(00e9b458
L"D:\\loopdir\\ext3_loopback",80000000,00000003,0033dee4,00000003,00000080,00000000)
The call fails because that file is not present.

No. We _might_ get support for linux with the web interface with the new Tomtom
GO 100x series.
But all older models are still supported and will only be supported by Tomtom
Home.
And it's quite clear by now there'll never be any release of Tomtom Home for
Linux since:
- it's for older models
- they've ignored all petitions for years
So we still need to get the final bits of support for Tomtom Home in wine.
Is there any wine developer who would like to get a tomtom GPS?

Game console output
Wolfenstein 2009 installs vcrun2005 and d3dx9 by default. I removed these
programs from the setup to test the implementation of these components in WINE.
The game crashes when attempting to load. I get outputs from the shell and the
game console, they are attached below.
Gentoo Linux X64
Nvidia 8800 GT, drivers 260.19.12
wine-1.3.5-168-gd4e8f30

Summary: Eve-Online windowed mode is now always fullscreen
Product: Wine
Version: 1.1.1
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: minor
Priority: P2
Component: -unknown
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: evanh(a)clear.net.nz
Wine 1.1 doesn't allow Eve to open a Direct3D window, it always comes up
fullscreen at first. Flipping the ingame setting to fullscreen and back to
windowed works but places the window down and to the right of the initial
specified position.
Re-installing Wine 1.0 fixed the issue.
I've only tried Eve-Online.

A few responses:
Adding a \\.\Volume{...} isn't enough. That list includes all drives, including
normal USB sticks etcetera. HOME cross-checks it against TomTom USB devices to
figure out the DOS path to the right USB device.
TomTom has been asked in the past to make a Linux version of HOME2. This hasn't
happened yet. One has to wonder if this is going to change, consideing that the
newest Go series (1000/1005) doesn't use HOME anymore. Instead new content is
uploaded to the device from the webbrowser. The site for this is under active
development, but doesn't use hacks like ActiveX. So it's quite possible Linux
support will become a lot easier.
As for devices, I've got no doubt that a serious developer could get a device
from TomTom for free.

Wine output (dibdrv trace) for TH06
In Touhou games the text is red instead of white.
Attached a trace log with added output of CalcShiftAndLen values for channels.

OK, thanks for the feedback. Any chance a more recent version of Dösinger's
patch could be given? (Other things that were mentioned did not help
performance here, but that's not strictly relevant to this bug.)
I'm of course happy to help out with anything I can, e.g. if you want someone
to test these patches.

If it's looking for \\.\Volume{...} wouldn't making a symlink in
~/.wine/dosdevices from Volume{...} to /dev/sdb fix things?
