Bug #: 32371

ErrorReport form wine
Wine --version: 1.4.1

Hi there,
During Start-Up of ICE.exe (Image Composite Editor) with wine, I get the
following error:
err:ole:CoGetContextToken apartment not initialised
fixme:shell:URL_ParseUrl failed to parse L"PresentationFramework"
fixme:imm:ImmDisableIME (-1): stub
fixme:thread:NtQueryInformationThread Cannot get kerneltime or usertime of

fixme:thread:NtQueryInformationThread info class 9 not supported yet
fixme:advapi:RegisterEventSourceW ((null),L".NET Runtime 2.0 Error
Reporting"):
stub
I sense the reason at Microsoft's .NET Framework 2.0, although I can't
understand at all what or where the error has (been) caused. For further
details, I've added wine's bug report as an attachment.
If anyone has an idea or far better ;) the solution of what causes the error,
please let me know.
What hasn't been working for me:
- Running ICE.exe with wine-devel (couldn't install dotnet20 (and its service
packages) over wine tricks
- Running ICE.exe with mono
- Searching trough BugZilla for a similar error
Cheers mates,
Marc

Bug #: 32291
Summary: Red Alert 3 Uprising fails to render characters
Product: Wine
Version: 1.5.18

Hi,
I try to play Red Alert 3 Uprising with current wine 1.5.18, Gentoo, kernel
3.7-rc6 and nouveau drivers in an rather old hardware in a laptop (nVidia
NVS160M)
I experience a bug very similar to Bug ID 19412 (that is, characters are not
rendered) but:
1)
I am using RA3: Uprising and not plain RA3
2)
I get
err:d3d_surface:surface_download_data >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> GL_INVALID_ENUM (0x500)
from glGetTexImage @
/var/tmp/portage/app-emulation/wine-1.5.18/work/wine-1.5.18/dlls/wined3d/surface.c

/var/tmp/portage/app-emulation/wine-1.5.18/work/wine-1.5.18/dlls/wined3d/surface.c
/ 2382
The relevant symbol is glGetTexImage and glTexSubImage2D and not
glCompressedTexImage2DARB as is in the other bug.
The error code is GL_INVALID_ENUM (500) and not GL_INVALID_VALUE (501)
Thank you

Bug #: 32501
Summary: E.Y.E.: Divine Cybermancy crashes when the player dies

E.Y.E.: Divine Cybermancy is a FPS/RPG available on Steam. The game uses
Valve's Source engine. A demo version is available on Steam but I can't test it
as I own the full version.
http://store.steampowered.com/app/91700/
Whenever the player dies the game crashes (without a usable backtrace).
Workaround to the problem can be found in AppDB: you need to remove some of the
.ttf files used by the game. They're eye.ttf, eye2.ttf, eye3.ttf, eye4.ttf.
'winetricks corefonts tahoma' doesn't help. I tested this bug with Wine 1.2.3,
1.4.1, 1.5.19. Please let me know if you need a debug log.

Summary: Incorrect Common Control Font Size
Product: Wine
Version: 1.5.18
Platform: x86
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: user32
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: support(a)securenetterm.com
Classification: Unclassified
The font in selected Microsoft windows common controls is being displayed with
a smaller point size in WINE release 1.5.18 and later. The common control font
size in releases 1.5.17 and earlier are more consistent with those in
production Microsoft Windows based systems.
This can be seen in the WINE based programs regedit.exe, explorer.exe, the left
pane of .chm help files being displayed with hh.exe and many other applications
that use font based common controls. In some controls, it is very difficult to
see what is being displayed since the font is so small.
A regression analysis between releases 1.5.17 and 1.5.18 shows the problem was
created by commit 4a8716cf5b4a434d72638425038eff0f589f3871 dated November 15,
2012.

Bug #: 32469
Summary: Conflict: Denied Ops crashes while loading a mission
(without native msvcr80)
Product: Wine
Version: 1.5.19
Platform: x86

OS/Version: Linux
Status: NEW
Keywords: download
Severity: minor

ReportedBy: gyebro69(a)gmail.com
Classification: Unclassified

plain terminal output
Unlike the demo version, the full version that I have from Gamersgate doesn't
install any MSVC++ libraries. With the built-in msvcr80.dll the game loads to
the main menu fine, but it crashes when I try to start a new game (somewhere
during the loading stage).
Workaround: winetricks vcrun2005
Steps to reproduce the problem with the demo version:
1. install the demo. Installation takes several minutes, be patient. Something
is not quite right with the installer under Wine, I'm frequently getting ***
glibc detected *** MSIEXEC.EXE... during the DirectX installation stage. Apart
from that the demo should be installed correctly.
2. set msvcr80=built-in and start the demo with ConflictDeniedOps.exe
3. in the config tool choose <Play Game>, create a new profile in the game
menu, <Play Demo>, select difficulty...the game begins to load but it crashes
during the loading stage.
Regarding debug logs: both the demo and the full version use Securom 7.35. It's
no problem to start the game normally under Wine, but Securom, it seems,
doesn't like such things as WINEDEBUG=+relay. However, I can provide a
+relay,+msvcrt,+seh,+tid debug log if that's needed.
