On first start it is trying to autoupdate. The autoupdate installer shows the message: "Rhapsody is running. It must be shut down during installation. Click OK." But clicking OK doesn't shut down Rhapsody. When I kill the rhapsody.exe process by hand the autoupdater continues and finishes successfully. In the attached terminal output I marked the point where I killed rhapsody.exe. HotWheels Stunt Track Driver 2 installs fine but fails to find the CD in both XP and 98 compatibility modes. It will show an image of inserting a CD into drive and rather than exiting the program with the Esc key, it causes a page fault which fails to debug and remains fully locked up. Followed all the instructions over here: http://wiki.winehq.org/MIDI . Midi playback works with aplaymidi, I created all the recommended registry entries and tested the MIDI playback in Wine with the MCI shell, that was successful. When I try to run Little Big Adventure for Windows, i.e., the official Windows port of the original DOS game, (http://www.magicball.net/downloads/programs/lbawin ) I get CD music, sound effects and voices working but there's no midi music playback. Whem I'm on a query window, putting the cursor over the table name and pressing F4 I got the following error setup_exception_record stack overflow 1252 bytes in thread 0009 eip 00408520 esp 00230e4c stack 0x230000-0x231000-0x340000 TOAD then freezes and cannot be usable anymore. It should instead have opened a window with a table-description. Now that I can actually get into Approach, I have been using it all day. I have five bugs to report. (I am presuming you want them on different reports.) I am running the native msvcrt. sh -c "cd /home/wine/drive_c/lotus/approach; WINEDEBUG=+loaddll WINEDLLOVERRIDES=msvcrt=n /usr/local/bin/wine ./approach.exe" Bug number three: when Approach starts, it is suppose to show a "Welcome to Approach" dialog box. In Wine it does not. To reproduce: 1) open Approach with the native msvcrt To see what this should look like (or see my attachment), 1) open Approach with the native msvcrt 2) open a database 3) close the database (File, Close). I applied a local fix to allow this temporarily (if this is usual is it documented anywhere?). The behaviour of ACEDEMO was then as reported in a recent test report submitted by José Manuel Ferrer. The application hangs whenever Ace attempts to utter a wittisism, some may think this is a good thing! We have a problem with Wine 1.3.15 and First Class 10.009, this problem occurs only when the user does not have any administrative rights in the First Class network he or she is connected to. Upon printing the application crashes. I have attached a debug trace from Wine that hopefully has the info needed to solve the problem, the OS is Ubuntu 10.10 64 Bit. If you need any more information i will be happy to add it as soon as i can and assist you in any way possible to solve this. I am however no programmer.
