Screenshots will better describe what I mean. I believe the same problem is responsible for bug http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=15075 , where in Steam certain elements using flash flicker and have grey bars. Serial Port related problem is hard to debug since it requires extra hardware that wine developers may not have. I just find a much simpler way of testing Serial Port stuff; connecting the RXD and TXD pins together to build a loopback Serial Port.
