Reaper versions 3.xx and 4.xx with Wine 1.2.x and Wine 1.3.x use about 3 times as much processor power compared to MS Windows running Reaper on an equivalent processor. (12 in Wine for me.) Hans got 192 failures on Windows. The difference is the backslash at the end of the current directory, when the current directory is the root of a drive. package.c:8811: Test failed: Expected "C:\\", got "C:\" ... package.c:9467: Test failed: Expected "C:\\FileName1", got "C:\FileName1" I expect more failures in other tests and asked Greg for help with wtb. -- By by ... Now, right after the login and before starting the connection to the server, the program crashes. Attached is the message that appears. Despite our expectations the style names are clearly not being localized. When I open the photo gallery, pictures are surely there, because they're selectable, but each frame, containing a photo, is empty/blank. Photos are saved on disk in bmp format, under ~/DepthHunter/Photos directory and I can open the files with any Linux image viewer. Native d3dx9_36.dll is a workaround. Wine doesn't provide anything suspicious in the terminal, so here I'm attaching a +d3dx debug log. A demo for Depth Hunter does exist but in-game photo gallery is not available in the demo.
