With wine-1.0-rc4 there is no luck to start Shogun. But with wine-1.0-rc5 (and now, with wine-1.0) Shogun starts well! But, frankly, that's all that it can. Now I can see Japan flag, starting credits and that's all. Shogun crashes when try to play video. There is log down here below. Also, you can run Shougn with some parameters. If you run it with "m" parameter (shogun.exe m), you can enter to multiplayer mode I think (just bypassing intro and menu). In this mode Shogun load one battlefield (i'm not sure about what battle is it). But you can look around battlefield, give some orders to troops, even fight with the enemy. It seems all plays very well. After pressing ESC you can leave Shogun. So, it seems only intro (or Start Menu) is not working. Battle engine plays well. On Windows the checkboxes are always visible as expected but on Wine 1.7.2 (under Ubuntu 12.04.2) checkboxes become visible only when focused. I'm working on a mini test application once the original app depends on servers not available publicly but if someone has any ideia on how to work on it would be nice. However: * expr_alloc_uconstant() is not used anywhere. So at first sight it should be removed. * But expr_alloc_sconstant() is used to allocate tNUM constant which, as far as I can see, are unsigned constants. * expr_alloc_sconstant() is used nowhere else. So something is wrong there. This is also related to EXPR_TYPE_U_CONST vs. EXPR_TYPE_S_CONST. Possible fixes: * Modify the lexer to only return unsigned constants (since that's all it can match), and then get rid of expr_alloc_sconstant() and EXPR_TYPE_S_CONST. * Modify the lexer to return both signed and unsigned constants as appropriate. In either case it will likely require modifications in the expression computation package as it only knows how to deal with signed integers.
