log
In Age of Empires, the intro videos do not play. I think they use Indeo codecs.
The Age of Empires installer places the Indeo dlls in the system32 folder, but
they don't appear to work. The game just jumps straight into the main menu.

Summary: WScript object name on wine is case sensitive which
should not be the case (vbscript)
Product: Wine
Version: 1.9.22
Hardware: x86
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: vbscript
Assignee: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
Reporter: dimaki(a)rocketmail.com
Distribution: ---
To reproduce create a vbs file containing the below statement and run it from
command line either via cscript or wscript command.
wscript.echo "Hello World"
Expected output does not show up. Instead the below fixme is output.
fixme:vbscript:stack_pop_disp not disp 0x143e58 {VT_EMPTY}
I have isolated the problem to the case in which the object name wscript is
written. If I write it as WScript like below then the expected output does
occur.
WScript.echo "Hello World"
VBScript is not case sensitive and the WScript object name can be used on
windows no matter what case the individual letters are written in such as
below.
WSCRIpt.echo "Hello World"

There are 4 and 8Gb models. Also lots of venderos. My card is from XFX.
I was about to form a patch myself, but I wasnt so sure how to make a correct
patch.
I just tested passmark 7.0 and it had some 3d benchmark and it showed that I
have ati 5600 model or something like that. Most likely that's the backup card
when wine doesnt recognize cards right.

Screenshot of OllyDbg showing a bit of crash context
In version 1.7.54 downloaded from [1], when copying d3d8.dll, wined3d.dll and
libwine.dll to the game directory I can play it, albeight slower than native
D3D8. Also several previous versions tested do work. But since 1.7.55 (also the
latest 1.9.17 and 1.8.4) the game crashes at start with access violation
reading address 0x0.
A screenshot of OllyDbg was the only thing I was able to get since the game is
fullscreen and even that is only thanks to Windows 7 compositing.

Summary: smart cutter of http://www.fame-ring.com works fine

backtrace after the crash when pressing the button "OPEN"
The application
Smart Cutter Ps/Ts (PORTABLE)
(Download: http://www.fame-ring.com/smart.cutter.rar )
starts without problems. Immediately after pressing the button "OPEN" to select
a file to work with the program crashes.
The link above points to the "portable version".
I notice the same behaviour when using the setup-version
(http://www.fame-ring.com/SmartCutter.exe) but:
If I use the file browser given with this version (with opening by running the
file smart.exe of the installation folder), I can open a video file using the
context menu entry "edit media" and the main functions, add cut points and cut
a file, work fine.
