I'm having an issues with Oblivion script extender program and wine-staging
1.9.10 and 1.9.11, prepackaged from arch repository or self-compiled. Arch
linux x86_64
When I start obse_loader.exe, check the obse plugins installed and try to load
them. But after hvaing loaded first plugin (according to the obse log) it
freeze until giving the error "Could not inject DLL"
It worked perfectly until wine-staging 1.9.8 (I didn't tried 1.9.9 but I jumped
direclty to 1.9.10 becouse of the exp preshading function)
The wine log, often doesn't say anything (the log has no message except the
wine version + start warnings (as the one that warning you about CMST
patchset)) some other times it give a ntdll warning about a blocked thread
It work perfectly with the last wine-dev (1.9.11, but it worked also with
1.9.10)

A stack overflow occurs in Windows Media Player 7.1 if an audio CD is inserted
while it is running or is present when executed:
wine: Unhandled stack overflow at address 0x7bc553a2 (thread 002f), starting
debugger...

but it still hangs with nothing of note in the log.

On the license agreement dialog the EULA appears to be for Ontario (in French)
not USA version in English. I thought originally it was a language detection
problem so I tested with native riched20, riched30 and wine-staging 2.21 but
there was no change in behavior. Does not occur on Win98SE.

Hello,
I've installed “The Magic School Bus Explores the Solar System” on a clean
Win95 32-bit prefix under ArchLinux x86-64.
The game quits after the splash screen appears with a generic error message.
The stdout of wine shows the following:
002f:fixme:mmio:MMIO_InstallIOProc Global procedures not implemented
002f:fixme:mci:MCI_LoadMciDriver Couldn't load driver for type L"AVIVIDEO".
The game installer copies some files to c:\windows\system. The required file
for AVI playback is MCIAVI.DRV.
The problem can be fixed by editing c:\windows\system.ini and replacing the
line
avivideo=mciavi.drv
with
avivideo=mciavi32.dll

While experimenting with a CodeSonar plugin we develop, we noticed a
potential bug in file "wine/dlls/comctl32/comboex.c" line 1033 function
COMBOEX_Create
SetWindowSubclass(infoPtr->hwndEdit, COMBOEX_EditWndProc, EDIT_SUBCLASSID,
(DWORD_PTR)hwnd);
infoPtr->font = (HFONT)SendMessageW(infoPtr->hwndCombo /*HERE*/, WM_GETFONT, 0,
0);
Shouldn't you access infoPtr->hwndEdit (instead of infoPtr->hwndCombo) at the
mentioned position in the second line?
Thanks,
Petru Florin Mihancea
