Summary: Guild Wars 2 Launcher is unable to connect after login
with error 42:0:9001:4457
Product: Wine-staging

Status: UNCONFIRMED

Until recently Guild Wars 2 worked fine but since my latest upgrade to
wine-staging 6.3 it stopped working. The launcher tries to verify the user name
and password but fails with login error 42:0:9001:4457 (
https://help.guildwars2.com/hc/en-us/articles/115015860488 ). I have reproduced
the issue with wine-6.3-1.fc33.x86_64 that comes from the Fedora distribution
and wine-staging64-1:6.3-1.1 from the winehq distribution.
Someone in the appdb (
https://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=version&iId=36138 ) seems to
have tried it on 6.4 as well.
The last Fedora package working for me was wine-6.1-1.fc33.x86_64 and the last
winehq version that works for me is wine-staging64-6.2-1.1.x86_64.
Thank you for looking into this! Please let me know which flags for WINEDBUG
you could use to trace the issue or if I can be some other kind of help.
