Trying to moderate the forum today, it is taking almost 90 seconds for pages to
load, and half the time they time out.
I did manage to see that there are 42 new posts in the moderation queue, most
of them in Russian, so my guess is the forum is being hammered by spambots. Can
Anubis protection be added to the forum?

Summary: 'start inetcpl.cpl' fails
Product: Wine
Version: 1.3.30
Platform: x86-64
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: enhancement
Priority: P2
Component: -unknown
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: RandomAccountName(a)mail.com
Classification: Unclassified
Starting inetcpl.cpl directly via the start command doesn't seem to be possible
in Wine. Running 'wineconsole cmd' and then 'start inetcpl.cpl' from within cmd
gives:
Application could not be started, or no application associated with the
specified file.
ShellExecuteEx failed: File not found
start C:/Windows/system32/inetcpl.cpl gives:
Application could not be started, or no application associated with the
specified file.
ShellExecuteEx failed: Success
Both cases bring up the Internet Options control panel applet on Windows XP.
Just running "wine inetcpl.cpl" also fails, with no output except "Segmentation
fault".

Summary: BigPEmu 1.18: D3D12 rendering issues

intro with D3D12
In BigPEmu (an Atari Jaguar emulator), .png images are not loaded/rendered
correctly when using the D3D12 renderer
Steps to reproduce:
1. launch BigPEmu 1.18 as follows and note how the intro animation looks using
the default OpenGL renderer:
wine ~/BigPEmu_v118/BigPEmu.exe
2. use backspace/enter to navigate backward/forward in BigPEmu, go to main menu
> Input > Input Device 1 > Set Bindings, and note how the controller image
looks in the top right
3. change to D3D12 renderer: go back to the main menu > Video > Video Plugin >
BigPEmu_Video_D3D12
4. exit and relaunch BigPEmu, note how the intro looks, and once inside the app
note how the background looks. Go back to the Set Bindings menu and note how
the controller image looks. Check the attached screenshots

macOS Terminal log, wine-devel 10.8
On macOS, there is a regression in Wine-devel 10.8 that causes the BigPEmu
Atari Jaguar emulator not to launch, with the following error message on
startup:
> One or more vital systems failed to initialize. Enable logging and check the log for details.
These are the lines from the BigPEmu log
> Error: Failed to create an OpenGL context. This indicates a driver problem.
> Error: Video init failure: BigPEmu_Video_OpenGL
(to enabled logging, launch with `wine ~/BigPEmu/BigPEmu.exe * -logging`, then
check the log in ~/BigPEmu/debug_log.txt)
This program launched fine in Wine-devel 10.7 and lower
tested with Wine-devel 10.8 binary release from Gcenx

The summary basically says it all... with winetricks mono26, the program
installs but won't start. With winetricks dotnet20, it's buggy but at least
somewhat usable. There's not much terminal output:
fixme:actctx:parse_depend_manifests Could not find dependent assembly

fixme:reg:GetNativeSystemInfo (0x9c9bf58) using GetSystemInfo()

The open and save file dialogs in Creative Writer 2 have an extra "home" button
next to the location dropdown and some standard buttons (up one level, desktop,
new folder...). The button mostly displays fine, but the left edge is not
visible. It appears to be covered up by a border around the standard buttons?

Video of the issue
As the title says I cannot drag and drop files into applications when using the
Wayland driver, I've only tested FL Studio and when I try to drag and drop a
file inside it, an "x" symbol appears to the cursor and doesen't let me drop
the file into the application.
I've attached a video of the issue.
Also using the x11 driver, drag and drop works fine.
