Summary: world of warcraft not accelerated with xinerama Product: Wine Version: 0.9.14. Platform: PC OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: wine-x11driver AssignedTo: wine-bugs@winehq.org ReportedBy: subscryer@gmail.com
I have extensively tested wow under my xinerama setup and have always had only 5 fps (geforce 6600gt, athlon64 3500). My last try was to disable xinerama, now I have around 20 fps and the game feels responsive and fluid. If I enable xinerama I get again 5 fps and uber choppy game. Other games, native or run through wine, seem to be accelerated (call of duty+wine at 90 fps, native quake3 capped at 125 by config) and glxinfo reports direct rendering on. I report this for 0.9.14 but it's true for almost all versions up from 0.9.6 since I tested nearly all of them and got consistent behaviour.
My system is gentoo linux. Tried both x86_64 and plain 32bit.
