Listen, I'm going to wipe the drive.
Why don't we wait until then and then I'll report back to you after I do it when I reinstall my games and retest Battlefield 2?
There's really nothing that's going to solve.
The problem is probably not due to d3dx, but rather:
0158:err:d3d:resource_init Out of adapter memory.
That's probably VA exhaustion.
