Summary: Call Of Duty: Installation not completed Product: Wine Version: 0.9.41. Platform: PC OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: wine-shell32 AssignedTo: wine-bugs@winehq.org ReportedBy: amlopezalonso@gmail.com
I know this is an old issue but Call of Duty cannot be properly installed since the Loki installer is not available anymore, so I tried to do it the "Wine way". The old problem regarding cd change is fixed using the "wine eject" command. But when the installer asks for the first cd at the end of the installation, it complains about an I/O error probably due to a corrupted file. During the process Wine goes (eight times):
fixme:shell:IShellLinkA_fnGetPath (0x183198): WIN32_FIND_DATA is not yet filled. fixme:shell:DllCanUnloadNow stub
After aborting the installation, multiplayer game runs fine but the single player game crashes since the very beginning.
