Just upgraded to Ubuntu 24.04 LTS with

wine-9.0 (Ubuntu 9.0~repack-4build3)

Bug still seems to be present.

It's very funny to watch. I can bring up an entire multi-threaded metaverse
client, 3D graphics and all. But each character echo takes two seconds.
