Hi there.

I can confirm that this is fixed for Sims 2 as well. Running Wine 10.14 with
experimental WoW64, Nvidia 470.256.02 with GeForce GT 645M, Linux 6.12.46, and
dxvk 1.10.3. The game starts properly in full screen mode and everything
appears to be running okay.

Taking this into account, I'm marking this issue as resolved.
