`env -i` alone has not effect as far as I see.
It was meant as part of one single wine command line:
  env -i PATH=$PATH DISPLAY=$DISPLAY XAUTHORITY=$XAUTHORITY
WAYLAND_DISPLAY=$WAYLAND_DISPLAY winecfg
