Finally got a chance to test.  Same infinite spam behavior when launching
dialog box on wine 10.12 with old prefix, made new prefix and now appears the
dialog boxes launch OK with no infinite spam.  I think issue can be closed, but
with no understanding of why it suddenly started going into this mode
(apparently the mono 8.1.0 change required the prefix to be updated on this
particular application for some unknown reason)
