I cannot reproduce that. I don't understand how you are able to avoid the crash
without that patch and how you are able to login or do anything else that
involves a web browser. Installing arial makes no difference for me, but that
is to be expected because I have core fonts installed via my package manager.
Try renaming your wine prefix and installing into a fresh wine prefix to see if
you are still immune to the issues. If you are, there are a number of things
going right on your machine that are not going right on mine.
