Bug ID: 58368 Summary: Hammer++ texture window and browser broken Product: Wine Version: 10.8 Hardware: x86-64 OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: -unknown Assignee: wine-bugs@winehq.org Reporter: luka05@bk.ru Distribution: ---
Created attachment 78772 --> http://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=78772 Texture browser with severe artifacting, rendering it unusable
The texture browser seems to have heavy artifacting, smearing everything as you scroll it. Also affects the face edit window, where the window that displays currently selected texture shows garbage instead. Happens with both DXVK and WineD3D. Tested in TF2 (64bit) and Source SDK 2013 Singleplayer (32bit) Hammer++ versions, affecting both
OS: Arch Linux x86_64 Kernel: Linux 6.14.9-arch1-1 DE: KDE Plasma 6.3.5 WM: KWin (X11) CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-9400F (6) @ 4.10 GHz GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti [Discrete]

Looks like you've missed a whole chunk of information here.
How is it installed? What are its dependencies? What workarounds are you using? Are you actually using Wine? You need to supply the console log.
Please provide the required information. https://gitlab.winehq.org/wine/wine/-/wikis/Bugs
This report will be closed if there are no clear details on how to recreate the issue.

--- Comment #3 from luka05@bk.ru --- To run the editor you need to download Team Fortress 2 on Steam (all for free) The Windows version needs to be downloaded instead of the Native Linux version (by selecting Proton in compatibility options) The bin directory in downloaded archive needs to be extracted into game's directory (steamapps/common/Team Fortress 2) and merged with the game's root bin directory.

Apologies for the inconvenience, I just tried launching the editor under the default, clean wine prefix and the issue went away. You may close the issue

--- Comment #5 from luka05@bk.ru --- Turns out I was wrong, although it has no artifacts at first glance, it still renders the wrong textures, as if it's displaying previous frames
