I am also seeing this problem after the 1.11 patch.

I'm using a self-compiled wine on a debian i386 chroot on a debian amd64 system.
 I'm using a nVidia 7800GFX card with the proprietary drives.  Playing around
with various versions of wine does not appear to help.
