Not for the ideas.. Yes it is taking quite a long time to get a fix in, but that is because we are trying to 1) prevent from putting in a hack, amd 2) trying to make sure that whatever fix we do put in doesnt severely impact performance. If we put in a fix that gives you < 12fps, would you be satisfied? No, you would then open a new bug saying opengl is slow for <insert app here>, so I think it's better to leave the code as is.
