The environment in Genshin Impact has glowing lines that should not be there; their colour and brightness change randomly after every log-in, and also change depending on the perspective.
This can be seen in the first area of the game, directly after the intro-sequence.
Workaround: Install DXVK; the graphics display correctly with it.

I don't have a PC with Windows available; so this is a screenshot with DXVK installed. It is very similar to the PS4-version, so it seems to display correct graphics.
The lighting is somewhat different due to the day-night-cycle in the game.
Is this useful anyway, or do you need another one that is better to compare with?

Correction: While this is true, the game also seems to have another graphical problem which makes it look darker.
Both screenshots were made at a similar day-time in the game.

Here is a log from starting the launcher, launching the game, beginning gameplay, going back to the log-in-screen, closing the game, and then closing the launcher (within about 1 minute).
DXVK was not installed in the wineprefix i used for getting this log.

--- Comment #7 from reelix@gmail.com --- This issue persists on Wine 10.7 on Linux Mint 22.1 (Xia) using the NVidia Driver 570.133.07 on an RTX 4070 Ti.
Other issues were also noted (Extremely dark despite maximum brightness, inability to see most textures underwater), however this issue is specific to the bug at hand.

Command Run: env WINEPREFIX="/home/reelix/.wine" wine C:\Program\ Files\HoYoPlay\launcher.exe --game=hk4e_global
That launched the launcher, which launched the game. Logged in, looked around at the broken colors, attempted to quit, quit froze, sudo pkilled Genshin, quit the launcher, ^C'd wine.
