I assure you that IE6 installation was performed from scratch.
For some reason you stubbornly refuse to understand that new Wine version broke an application that used to work under Wine.
I even tried to clean up history, internet files, cookies in IE6 - the same result - the 'h' letter is present.
I believe that presence/absence of characters in an entry field of a GUI application is the direct consequence of the way that GUI widget is impelented - it looks to me that something got broken WRT to IE6.
