Do you mean that Wine does not support the "\." thing, or nslock.dll?

I have nslock.dll as it comes with the program package. I also tried it with
Win98 and NT40 as you suggested, but no help.

It looks that the "\." thing is a really major issue at the moment to many
people as two other major financial analysis software in China, which currently
do not work under Wine, also seem to report about "\.".  Does Wine not plan to
support it at all, or just in the near term?
