extrem ugly "never use it" gcc4.0.* patch

I think you are using gcc4.0.* too
its weird but AFAIK this bug only appaers with gcc4.0.*
3.4.* and 4.1.* works fine

this patch should fix it, but it is _very_ ugly, you should not use it!
it is _mutch_ better to update to gcc 4.1.1

I will upgrade my gcc to 4.1.1 next week =)
