In the case of this bug, there's probably even less incentive to even examine it, since it's being run on Windows via WSL.

"I got the same error" implies that you got the same error as the previous comment (comment 0), but the log there shows that it's also being run under Windows via WSL. At no point did you explicitly say you tried to run the game under native Linux, nor did you post logs from such an attempt.
