I've encountered this issue again since I had to reinstall my entire hard drive,
so I re-ran the git-bisect tests.  It turns out that I must have messed up
originally.  This regression began at

I will look into it some more and figure out why the app is crashing here
[again/still].  If I can't figure it out, I'll post some more traces.
