This is indeed a great thing, but it's clearly not targeted at beginners, and dosen't help with _creating_ local repository, that the howto dosen't describe with the needed accuracy and verbosity.
Please, don't take my posts in bad way. I'm just desperate user that needs find out, where things get broken (other words, what patch in Wine has broken our app). I have never been using CVS before. The howto seemed to me targeted exactly at users like me, so I politely complain that it dosen't help me as much as I expected (in fact, dosen't help either until now). Maybe just a few updates and more comments cat make it useful, but I'm not skilled enough to find the way on my own.
Just an impression about the very process of regression testing scares me. Therefore, the idea of studying the whole CVS thing scares me much more.
