Great that this works again, I was desperatly waiting for some good news :-)

I've had a simmilar issue in empire earth when I hacked old ddraw to start it 
up to the main menu, and Oliver Stieber told me what could cause them. I'll 
look up the wine-devel archives, maybe I can find his answer in the archives.
