--- Comment #1 from Ben Hodgetts (Enverex) ben@atomnet.co.uk 2007-11-29 06:04:32 --- Artifacts aren't related to lag, the GeForce 8 series also isn't well supported in Linux yet (poor performance). This isn't a Wine related issue.

But linux version of quake4 is running without any artifacts. And http://www.unigine.com/ runs too. benchmark of glxgears is 10219. So it`s looks like bad interface between Wine and nvidia G80.

--- Comment #3 from Ben Hodgetts (Enverex) ben@atomnet.co.uk 2007-11-29 07:57:41 --- Just because one app runs fine, doesn't mean it's working properly, the drivers are KNOWN to not be great for the 8 series at the moment. A score of 10200 is poor anyway, my 7900 gets 19000. Please don't reopen this bug as it is not a Wine issue.

--- Comment #4 from Vitaliy Margolen vitaliy@kievinfo.com 2007-11-29 09:10:41 --- This is driver bug and not Wine. See for example bug 10557.
