Simple solution to font problem was presented on appdb for this program.
According to the note's author the problem lies in the font not being recognized
as a symbol font. He resolved this using fontforge to create a version that is
recognized by wine as a symbol font. Just put the revised font into wine/fonts
along with some core fonts for type and IT JUST WORKS.

This resolves my problem... but still WINE and windows treat this font
differently so there is still some incompatability.

I leave it to some WINE developer to make the call... fixed and close or unresolved.
