We don't provide a quick hack to satisfy end users for exactly that reason: everyone is satisfied. No one will care to expend any amount of effort fixing a problem if an easy hack gets them the same thing. As of now, people are talking about ideas and trying to figure out how to get this working without a workaround, whereas before, no one cared to fix the problem. This is the exact reason why we don't add hacks and workarounds to the tree. If everyone is so dissatisfied, which they are, then someone, somewhere, will provide a solution. We would appreciate it if you would stop posting to this bug about bringing back a hack or complaining about the situation. The posts are for ideas on how to fix the problem. Thanks.
