I'm running fedora33/x86-64 and  the dedora version of wine-6.0.-c2. If
starting wiso2021..exe, i get an error (see attachment!) saying that a dll file
is mssing (Call from 7B010BF6 to unimplemented function msvcp140_1.dll).

This is the first time such an error occurs with the wiso software.

Any help is appreciated.

It is a German tax program,  needed for my return of tax.

I you want to download it, goto "www.buhl.de" and install the test version.
German language is needed for operating wiso.rexe.

I meant the 2021 version of "WISO Steuer Sparbuch". I Installed it from CD
after bying it, but I cannot send you an CD ISO image (because of license
reasons). I do not know, if the same problems happen in earlier versions (2019
for exmaple). It seems that  for lack of  better diagnostics the culprit is a
missing msvcp140_1.dll.

Hello JB,

thanks for the information.

Although the installer bundles the required VC++ runtime (dubbed as 'VC
2015-2019 Redist'), the VC++ redist installer won't overwrite the Wine PE
builtins.

You can use following workaround until Wine gets fixed:

'winetricks -q vcrun2019'

could be an interrupted download.

Just do as it says: rename or better remove the corrupted download and retry.

If it persists try to manually download by different means using the URL and
place the .exe in that cache folder path.

Not that it would help in this particular case but if a download link is broken

Now I installed the most recent winetricks (20201206-next) and installed
vcrun2019 again.

It basically means that 'winetricks -q vcrun2019' did not put native overrides
for this dll into registry which is the result of either:

* winetricks script being to old
* bug in winetricks script

'msvcp140_1.dll' and 'msvcp140_2.dll' (latter doesn't exist as of Wine 6.0-rc2
yet).
