Is drive "X:\" setup as your temp drive?
yes.
You mentioned "ansi.sys" .. but the log tells "jansi.sys"? Is "jansi.sys" a copied fake driver or does it come from installation? If it's the fake one then something goes very wrong because the setup just takes the first driver it finds and tries to start it.
ansi.sys is a file copyed to system32/drivers from Windows XP installation. If there is a stub driver, ill be glad to install it instead of real drivers. But i have no such stub drivers. Ive tryed ext2fs.sys, results are the same, temp files were called "wext2fs".
